Still painting, still doing the work. If you want to be an artist, you have to do the work. If you want to use the glorified Google image search of AI gen, you can do that too, but you won't be an artist.

Which would have made sense. SFX and VFX are extremely different. So they should be different categories especially since things like makeup which is a part of SFX have their own category so why not make VFX that has nothing to do with SFX in term of production become its own category

If you've ever tried to use a Camera Obscura, it's actually a skill in and of itself. You have to be VERY good at color matching.

I attempted to copy a black and white photo using a mirror. Much more difficult than it looks, even just using black and white.
