I fully respect needing to DISPLAY nazi and confederate flags as part of a curriculum. That is obviously necessary... but as a printed image in a history textbook.

I studied 20th century world history in high school. WW2 was a big part of the course. Not once did anyone fly a Nazi flag for "educational purposes." What a fucking fascist, racist asshole this guy is. America, wtf are you guys doing?

i studied 20th century European History 1900-1945. No nazi flags were displayed in that class either. everybody knew wtf they looked like, nobody wanted to see them again.

We don’t know anymore. The train is off the rails now. On one hand, it’s important for kids to learn the history of things like the confederacy and the Nazis. So yeah, you may have pictures of the flags, uniforms, etc. as part of a curriculum. But that doesn’t mean you should be flying a literal Nazi flag in a classroom. There’s no legitimate educational reason for that. At best it’s in really poor taste, at worst that’s a freakin Nazi teaching your kids.
