I was gonna make a sex on the beach joke but someone beat me to it

The Caribbean Rum Punch looks an awful lot like a Painkiller without the cream. Just sayin'.

Do we have a converter for these freedom units somewhere? ?

Kalimotxo: 13 oz cheap red wine, 13 oz cola; serve on the rocks or without the rocks in a 26 oz plastic glass or half a plastic bottle.

Please use Cointreau or Grand Marnier for your Mai Tai, otherwise good recipes

Is nobody drinking good old daikiri anymore? It's always tons of fruits, crushed ice, or whatever else was in the fridge that day...

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe I’m an alcoholic but you definitely need more liquor in most of these

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Faved and forgotten

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tabasco in a jerk marinade? No. Just no.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In a vergin.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1/4oz seems like a lot of bitters.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, way too much. Just a couple dashes

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dark n Stormy you always make with Gosling's Black Seal rum. It's like buttoning up your suit jacket all the way otherwise. Super hicktown

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gin and seltzer, muddled cucumber and mint leaf. Amazing.

Pro tip for mojito: use simple syrup instead of granulated sugar

Quit favoriting without upvoting

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Michelada and Dark & Stormy are shown in a shaker for portion sizes, but you REALLY don't want to shake them.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ice, bourbon, Zevia rootbeer and lime. With a beer on the side. Sit down and enjoy

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love experimenting with Mojitos by using different sodas, like ginger ale, sprite or even red bull.

Long Island Ice Tea - just dump all your high alcoholics in a huge glass.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

My favorite beach drink is one part rum and two parts rum.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of the "zombie", mix every rum in the bar, maybe add a little pineapple juice to keep up appearances, chug in quantity.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hmm I like pina colada made a different way. Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut is a must for amazing colada.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Not saying this is a bad list for quick drinks.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Make your own Coco Lopez style cream of coconut. Take an unsweetened can, heat over medium heat, stir in 1/2 cup sugar. Chill. /1

2/ Keeps about a week in the refrigerator and saves about $5 per can. (Optional: add half lime’s juice for acidity and flavor while cooling)

No bitters in a dark and stormy. The hell's wrong with people

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh that sangria is all wrong

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I guess this is an approximation for when you want just one glass of it. Tough to make just one serving properly. That's why it's titled /1

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"single sangria". Normal sangria requires a pitcher at least. We used to make it in a giant bucket (dedicated to sangria). /2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Normal sangria does not have lime. At all. You'd have not an easy time finding limes in Spain.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only fucking morons are going to the beach right now

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Mojitos are better if you muddle lime wedges with the mint leaves and sugar before mixing the drink.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I thought that was implicit on the recipe (otherwise explain me what's the point of filling a cocktail shaker with only cachaça)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(The recipe could have mentioned it though…)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And use simple syrup instead of just sugar.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mmm, caipirinha... *adds Cachaça to booze shopping list*

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Btw you need to mash the limes with a pestle

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mmm, capybara

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If you can find Cuca fresca, get it. It's cheap but tastes and smells so good. Don't get Leblon. It's crap.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Thanks, I have very limited options, and was looking at Leblon. No Cuca Fresca. My options are Leblon and Cachaca 51. Thoughts?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cachaca 51 is definitely better. When I visited Brazil a while back, I was told by the locals Leblon was made for foreign markets.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks! I'll put that on the list.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pinga 51! That's the street stuff

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My beach drink of choice is the BBC: Baileys 2 parts, 1 banana, Colata by taste, Malibu 2-3 parts, some Vanilla ice cream, all blended up

5 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

Need to try this shit

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ahhh, the dirty banana - so many names and so many variations...

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Baileys, dark rum, chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce = mudslide.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

sounds more like a BBCMI

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can’t make a sexual innuendo about all of those letters though

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I too, like enjoy a BBC or two on the beach from time to time.

5 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Like an alcoholic banana shake? Sounds amazing. +1

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Too heavy for a beach drink

5 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

WAAAAAYYYY too heavy for a beach drink. Cream liqueur should never leave the house.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Can you say Pina Colada without getting caught in the rain?

5 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Why yes

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Piña co- *thunder* damn it

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

If so, you might be entitled to financial compensation.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I always think "IF YOU LIKE PINA COLADAS!!"

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My issue is fantastic movies using the same songs. First it was Shrek with Pina Colada and then Guardians of the Galaxy. >

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

> My brain short circuits trying to get the right visuals to the song.
