Amazing the bumper on the Cybertruck didn't break off like usual...

4 weeks ago | Likes 389 Dislikes 2

I knew it was fake the instant he started pulling forward that fast. It'd shatter a cybertruck.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'll be honest that's what I thought the noise was XD

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was entirely expecting to see that

4 weeks ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Same.

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She that joke coming a mile away, still worth it. Fuck Musk.

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

but wasn't the T supposed to burst into flames?

In any truck tug of war the cyber truck loses its bumper.

4 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Now I really want to see it though.

Rivian is a sexy truck. I like the lights 0 0

4 weeks ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

I want to get the R2 when it comes out.

First saw them in the series Long Way Up (motorcycle travel thing with Ewan McGregor), they had prototypes as the support vehicles. They were impressive even back then, roughly 5 years ago.

4 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Great series, Rivian really put their reputation on the line giving them rough unfinished vehicles but they came through.

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they performed very impressively considering the unfinished state.

They haven’t launched in the UK, and they’re not really my kind of thing anyway, but I hope they do well. I’d rather see Rivians lining the streets than Wankpanzers.

Speaking of Wankpanzers… There was one that got seized (and later released) by UK police, because it isn’t legal to be on UK roads. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz0lldd30xlo

UK here too and yeah I'm not in the market for an oversized 4x4. I saw that story and good lol

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Russ and Dave used them again in Long Way Home which I really enjoyed.

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh shit I forgot they were making that. Time to find it.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’m in the middle of watching that right now 🙂

Rivian loses $60k for every truck it's selling. This is with government assistance for both customer and company. These companies and vehicles are not the real solution. It's all another big business grift.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure it's down to like $10k now before regulatory credits. They hit gross profit in Q4 2024, so that $60k sounds like a pretty out-of-date number unless you've heard something that's not in the news. It was like $35k in early 2024.

I really wanted to see the battle but I also really would have been disappointed if it wasn't hooked up to a dumpster.

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It would be easy to predict: First two tries the Cybertruck wins because of the weight. The third trie the Aluminium Frame on which the Hitch is mounted gets a fatigue Break and the Cybertrucks breaks in two pieces and loses on a technical KO.

4 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Only on solid road though, on a soft or loose surface the Clustertruck would slide away because it's shitty tires can't get any grip

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hi Gulia

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In general the towing tests are pretty stupid. It usually just comes down to weight and tires.

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Too well made to be a cyber truck

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Wow. New Cybertruck model looks better than the last one.

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm waiting for the Rivian with European specs. They announced it month ago. But then someone irritated all the investors with senseless tariffs.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Guess who's getting deported next.

4 weeks ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 3

Elon?

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i dont think elon is making those decisions anymore

4 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

ehh, he might for a few party donations

Ooooofff!

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The reason the Cuybertruck could out pull a F150 was solely due to the weight. I bet if they put ballast in the Ford things would be much different.

Tank turn bitch

nothing says appreciating the outdoors like destroying it.

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

If you have no idea what's going on, not commenting is a good way to keep from looking like an idiot.
Where exactly did you get the idea that this was about appreciating the outdoors?
Why do you think this spot is something natural, or is being destroyed?
You make something up, and then complain about the thing you made up.

4 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Something about points and age of account, They gave me Emerald very early in the program.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I got you fam, which one should i give?

rad!

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I see he got the blue wrap for his Nazibox truck so it won't rust in the open air.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought Rivian stock so please buy those trucks.

4 weeks ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Sorry, I can only afford a used Slate.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol stonks.jpeg

4 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

leasing one, hoping for solid state by the time the lease is up, otherwise will probably buy it off the lease. they had really good terms.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they cut down the trees... so finish building the damn factory!!!

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, if I was in the market today I'd def consider one of their SUVs.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't understand how people can afford a new car, let alone something like a rivian. The monthly car payments are almost $1000 a month on even the cheapest cars.

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ouch. Carmax wants to buy my car back for 3.5k but all the cars that i could afford that would be similar to my car are 7k. Also just replaced suspension which was more than half the value so i ain't giving it up for years lol.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yea it's sad the computerized bs tax in the electric vehicles when virtually everything is simpler. Hopefully the slate trucks and telo trucks drive down prices

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its strange part of me likes the weird angular design of the CT(but I cannot give Elon, the build quality, and the low quality aluminum frame a pass). Rivian however understood the mission, They built an EV truck that looks like a truck. By having a normal shaped bed area it can do anything requiring a normal shaped pickup truck. For example taking on a cap, a common accessory for trucks. Elon's ego of course prevented Tesla from building a normal shaped truck with a steel frame.

4 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Um https://spacecampers.com/

Sooner or later you guys are going to run out of lies, uh sorry I mean excuses

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

After seeing one in person it just looks so weird. Seeing pics & vids it looks much better. Which only made it so much weirder for how fucking wierd they actually look in person

Not sure if you've seen, seen one, but if you haven't thought I'd give my 2 cents

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

About the cybertruck. Good in pics, so fucking weird in person

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Breaking the mold in car design is sometimes okay but the shape of a pickup truck is what it is for a reason. If Musk wanted the shape of the cybertruck to be something more useful I still firmly believe that they should have made the bed open into the rear seating area like the Chevy Avalanche did. Actually hey GM bring back the Avalanche as an EV. But also bring back the S-10 as a single cab long bed electric pickup for a reasonable price.

4 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

You may want to look into the Slate pickup. A compact, no-frills EV pickup that's smaller than most trucks and has a base price around $25K (before tax incentives that are likely to go away under Trump)

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I doubt he was even trying to break the mold. He's a child that played a video game and got hung up on that being the bestest car possible. https://imgur.com/9AJhWQP

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Late reply, but the Chevy Silverado EV is basically an Avalanche EV. Uni-body style truck with a pass-through mid-gate like you want.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That wasn't a cyber truck. You can tell because it wasn't on fire.

4 weeks ago | Likes 751 Dislikes 3

Only because they stopped pulling before it bumped the tree.

4 weeks ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

A dumpster could probably go through a car wash and not void the warranty.

4 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

You guys are all fucking wrong, and it hurts because its obvious. They don't sell them in blue.

4 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Maybe it's a custom?

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Damn, they have money for customs after getting that atrocity? They really must be loaded lol

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And the back didn’t fall off, either

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

and the hitch didnt rip free of the frame

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I didn't see a single nazi.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You all jealous because you can't have one

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 14

Oh, yes, I'm SOOOOOO fucking jealous because YOU said I'm not allowed have the ugliest vehicle ever designed, that fails at the basics of what a pickup truck is supposed to do, and that falls apart if you LOOK at it too hard.

I live in a rural area. There are no paved roads here. I'd like to see a Cybertruck drive the two miles of dirt "road" between my house and the paved highway, every day, and see how long it takes for pieces to start falling off. I'm guessing MAYBE a week.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I dont need to me tax-free-yacht rich, but I would love to be burn-a-cybertruck-for-fun rich.

4 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Cybertruck isn't even road legal in Europe due to safety concerns.

4 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Elon's shlong taste good?

4 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

also its not held together w/ plastic tabs

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also because the trash inside it doesn't talk

4 weeks ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

I have three of those eyesores in my town! Not to mention what feels like 50% of all cars in the cesspool I'm stuck in are now Teslas...
