My two grandfathers, my father, nothing like this, I don't think they had any idea they could. My grandfathers were more loving than my dad, but it was a pat on the head, or a small compliment rather than heartfelt feelings. This is so sweet. It's perfectly all right to be loving, no matter who you are!!!
I do try, I had years of therapy to try and change what I feel lt was a genetic issue of not caring and insensitivity - what time and all ended up doing is my family dropping me completely. But I don't see the point in not caring about the entire population, so here I am, hoping things for people and creatures. <3
Stuff like this makes me so sad and angry that my son and his children were stolen from me by Fox, Rogan, and Chump. Fuck this timeline. Iāll never see that.
No. Although I appreciate the sentiment and generally blame myself for everything. His 8 years in the army profoundly altered his liberal upbringing. They taught him some awful shit.
Makes me feel bad about being tough on my kid teaching him tennis. Hope something like this happens some day for me even a hundredth. It's hard teaching anyone sports that require mechanics.
Great coaches don't teach mechanics as much as they teach motivation. The mechanics come easily once the kid cares about being their best self. Figuring out how to help them believe they can be that is the genius. Jus' sayn'. Exposing kids to top level talent, in ways that the kids can see how hard the elite work to be that, helps greatly. I've known people who are world champions in their sport, since they were kids, and their dedication is how they got there.
More men and boys making it ok to cry, please. My heart swells when a man can show emotion. I feel that way bc I saw how my brother was raised and how cold his heart became. Don't let the world steal your warm hearts, gents.
Iām a dad, my 3 boys are all honey and sweetheart, I donāt care. Until theyāre old enough to tell me if they donāt like it, thatās what theyāll always be.
I remember my dadās dad calling us grandchildren honey, but no other men called us boys honey so it always felt out of place. Now Iām a dad and all of my boys are honey and sweetheart.
My dad always called all us kids "sweetheart", the boys and the girls, so I just sort of automatically called my own kids that, and then I noticed my husband was calling them that too. It's such a nice word, feels very loving. I also call them "angel", I don't know where that one came from, I'm not even religious. I just sort of started doing it.
My whole city does that. I have been called "sweet heart", "darling", "duck", "my luvver" and "me babbers". Slightly spoilt by the city not having a function transport system.
Stuff like this just makes me really realize that I never had a single person like that for me in my life, and is why I try to be that person for others. That man is a treasure and that kiddo has a great example of what a good person is. I'm happy for them (:
Im proud of you,... (*Checks username...) STABBY Mc MURDERFACE. BWAHAHAHAHAHA. My headcannon is you think youre helping people with Murder. If this is true, theres a cheetoh Id like to introduce you to
Haha, it was my username when I played a lot of town of Salem. Serial killer was my favorite role. The other name I used a lot was dr. Murderface. I just think it's funny since it's the complete opposite to me irl. I give off SOLID mom energy and haven't met a kid who doesn't wanna use me as a jungle gym, etc.

I'm full on crying, that is such a beautiful moment. These two have a relationship most of us yearn for. We were all meant to be loved, cherished.

I mean, people who are raised right donāt listen to those idiots so think youāve got yourself to blame there.

This is used in a commercial for health insurance and it annoys me every time I see it now.
forsteri80
I'm surprised looking at the comments we appear to be the only two. I hate it so much because I've seen it so many times as an advertisement.
DeityFalkor
Maybe it is a location thing. Are you in the PNW area?

Well, maybe we just both watch too much TV.

My mom's frequent term of endearment was "Lovey". I use that for my grandkids, and I find it slides over to my pets as well.
ObiWanKenobitch
I use lovey for my cats too. Donāt know where it came from because that wasnāt a pet name used in my family. But it just fits my little babies.

The saddest people in this life do their best to make others happy. You become the person who you needed most when no one was there. I'm proud of you.
