Worst named sport ever

1 month ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

It has different regional names... Whenever we played it at my schools it was just "bean bag toss"

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never played a game named after a butthole

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Can he do that again?

1 month ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Juat to make sure it was not a fluke?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably. He just threw like 4 bullseyes in a row.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Keep watching! I don’t think he can miss.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did he do that on purpose? If so that's super impressive. Prevents the other guy from scoring

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

you mean baggo? the bean bag game

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Officially it's called Cornhole. As the bags are filled with corn normally.

This is better than baskethoe games

The best offense is a good defense.

That was a hurry up I'm that good bag flip in his hand, I'd compare it to tennis players spinning their racket

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm going to need a rule review here. Is that allowed?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Check him for doping!

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not gonna lie, that's impressive

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How is that scored? You get 1 point for landing on the board, and 3 for going in the hole - but is it cumulative? Ie. Do you get 4 points for "landed on the board and was later knocked in?"

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I think it’s final result. 3 for each that went in the hole, 1 for each on the board after the last throw, so if it’s on the board and gets knocked into the hole that 1 becomes a 3, but also if it’s on the board and gets knocked off the board that 1 becomes a 0.

Like curling. The final position is what matters, not what you did to get there.

Scoring is done at the end of the round, so whatever is in play before that time is irrelevant.

What's the age range for this league - 12-30?

1 month ago | Likes 329 Dislikes 1

Yes

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's cornhole. The age range consists of "can you throw the bag".

1 month ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

If you can toss a wrench you can toss a bag.

1 month ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 0

Any bag tossing age.

1 month ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Get old enough, and you can toss your own bag.

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I don't see any guys here that couldn't be in the puberty variance range of 12-16.

No age brackets. He’s 9 years old and he’s ranked 14th in the world.

1 month ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

“In the world “ as in, like the World Series?

Ten till you're dead

It says "anyone can play".

That growth boys do between 12 and 15 is nuts. You could be 3 ft to 6 ft

1 month ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

Yeah, being the 3 ft kid in PE among the 5-6 foot kids was awkward.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Being the 6 foot kid amongst the 3 ft ones is just as bad. You become a target for the bullies trying to prove themselves, not just those who like to target perceived weakness.

Wasn't my experience, but I suppose that might be the case for some. I was always looked to as the unofficial playground enforcer, even though all I wanted to do was read a book.

Cornholing is an all age sport!

While this is impressive... I just spent a weekend away at a family reunion, and there was a sizable chunk of my family that spent (quite literally) all of their "free time" playing cornhole on the back patio. The entire weekend. It was insane/pathetic/kinda impressive to see the staying power.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 13

and I'm sure no alcohol was consumed during this entire cornholing event /s

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Insane and pathetic. That's what you think of people happily playing a game together all weekend. Damn dude. Your character is showing.

I feel uncomfortable at large social gatherings, so I'm very relieved every time there's an option to play a simple game with a low learning curve to keep me busy. Plus, it's still a form of socializing, unlike the much more common alternative at big gatherings; Rudely staring at my phone for 5 hours straight, not talking to anybody and looking like I don't want to be here.

Id rather throw beanbags at a board for 8 hours than engage my extended family in conversation for 10 minutes.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is of course a huge factor, too.
