I feed squirrels daily behind our house. Most days about six at a time but as many as eleven at once. Last two days, no squirrels. Two hawks have been in the area.
Everyone and their uncle plays cricket since they're a baby in India. They're lethal when throwing rocks. I've seen kids picking off unripe mangos growing 20 meters up with a stone. They're used for pickles so I imagine their mothers send them out to do this. About the size of a plum and very firmly attached to the branch. Kids had a bucket full... The precision and force needed to do this is crazy!
Rockstarwizkidd
I think from the birds perspective, this is the equivalent of walking over and picking it up.
smugg77
why ruin it with slow motion?
theAught
My shoulder hurts from looking at the throw
Zahnradfee
The great flapflap. Awesome birds.
minkuschild
Almost as if they've evolved over millenia to eat... weird
cenfou2tout
That would be a great way to divert people attention from their wallet...

I imagine this is exactly how slow birds normally perceive time.

Versace shoulder cannon
FenyxKnight
This is cool and all but does anyone else feel they'd break their shoulder throwing straight up in overhand?
Drawstencil
I think that’s a perfect reception as opposed to an interception
lamillli
I think these two have done this before
chichiFregiLover
the name of the species would have been perfect

DigitalDragon75
SkyMice are a thing! Really! I was just flying, minding my own business, and SkyMouse came flying Right At Me!
No, no. It wasn't a bat. I know what a bat is Larry. No wings! SkyMice!

Sure but that dude has a pretty damn good arm, too.
thornofnight
When the target is as big as the sky, it's not the aim, it's the arm.

Not pictured: the 15 chicken wings rotting on his roof.
AmyBethMegJo
That's why they call him Incredible Hunter.
Eucrow
Definitely more impressed by the throw. Birbs have time slowing reflexes and shit.
MoxieMonster
That's the exact type of throw that I strained 3 muscles and put me out for 6 weeks.
alittlebitbored
That’s the arm of a cricketing fielder.
