Sounds like SOMEBODY needs to run for office.

I was once asked what my ethnic background was and when I said "Oh I'm a mutt, my ancestors got around" the reactions I got were eye opening

Anyone who says only non-whites were treated harshly upon arriving in America needs to some basic research...or simply watch Gangs of New York.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

After they dived us on race it’ll be sexual orientation, then it’ll be gradients of either, then it’ll be how much do you make, how much can you pay to be American.

Europenans don't feel like we're better than anyone else apart from manga and isrealie nazis were better than those cunts but so is every other group on the llanet

Remember when the simpsons made that joke about australians being descendands of criminals? One may now wonder what the descendands of those who couldn't make a living and fled europe to the new world looks like. Guess they all wear red hats now.

Just the mainland? Stay away from Alaska, Hawaii, and the US territories as well.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hawaii or bad AI story telling

3 weeks ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 10

Or Puerto Rico, or Guam, or American Samoa, or the Virgin Islands. The USA is more than just the 50 states.

3 weeks ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

I went with Hawaii because it is the only one of the islands where I have heard people refer to continental US as the mainland

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With on the public school I had from 1988-2001 the rest past Puerto Rico was barely a foot note and was taught for the tests. And that was based off of two different schools in a city and one in a corn field.

What made America 'great' for a brief period of time was the immigrants. Now they're keeping the dumbfucks only and all the intelligent people are leaving, doesn't seem the best strategy.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’m descendent from four different European countries and one native nation. I’m nine generations removed from last European Immigrant ancestors. I don’t understand hyphenated Americanism.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s all code.
American = white
Freedom = getting rid of people and things we don’t like

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've lived in Hawaii & Alaska. Racial discrimination and inequality are just as prevalent there ...

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They threatened us to salute the flag and say their flag prayer.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's a point here I guess. No idea what it is though, this is all too vague.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lots of the,!f

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your not a foreigner, you're an American. And despite what you read, the vast majority of folks here don't think they're better than anyone else. Happy 4th!

3 weeks ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 6

enough of a minority for the humble and tolerant to lose an election though, apparently...

When "not thinking they're better than anyone else" actually starts requiring something more than lip service, i fear you'll find out just how few REALLY think that. but we'll see in the coming months, won't we.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Exactly. I always hear that Americans are nice in reality, that the political system doesn't represent them accurately etc.

So where is this majority in all the elections to prove they are actually nice people? Put up or shut up.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i think they're slowly beginning to realise a lot of american people just want to be left alone. and if being left alone means they turn a blind eye to what EITHER side gets up to, thats what they do.

When the side that gets a go turns out to be fascists, and the "blind eye" needs to be turned from viewing internment camps and worse... kinda becomes a bit of a problem though. but again, "I just want to be left alone, and they aint after me so ima just ignore it."

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's how people in dictatorships tick: "The main thing is that I and my family survive, I try not to attract attention. And if others get caught, there may be reasons for that." And if the propaganda in a dictatorship works well, people are even proud of their regime.

Stolen money makes people do weird shit. Money in general…

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shit people only feel better about themselves when there's someone else they can shit on. The most common compensation is just to lean back the other direction rather than realize it's a bullshit concept.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s kinda their shtick. MAGA is built on stupidity and simplicity. That said, can’t say I respect anyone that leaves on political grounds. One less viable vote when it counts.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can still vote from overseas. The issue is that the American Fascist Party will work to nullify the will of the people even more now than they ever have, and it will result in a dystopian shitshow worse than what we have now.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can’t vote for president if you live in certain US territories actually

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And that's the dumb part.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed entirely but moving there isn’t exactly helping change that. That’s assuming he’s from a territory that is

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Expatriate Americans are still able to vote in national elections, though.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where ya going? Can we go with?

The puritans were sent to America and the convicts were sent to Australia. Somehow the convicts are doing a better job.

3 weeks ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Because criminals are almost always better people than the religious.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, the Australian fauna is pretty humbling.

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Because the “convicts” weren’t all dangerous or bad people, just committing the crime of being g poor. The puritans had worn out their welcome everywhere because they were intolerable, even by the standards of pretty tolerant peoples.

3 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yes, it’s a good thing we’ve moved past that now and only imprison dangerous criminals. /s

It would be a shame if we were still making old mistakes.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree.

Descendants of northern Europeans? Scandinavia + Finland? Maybe Baltics. There aren't that many descentants from there in US apart Wisconsin. He got tired of Wisconsin?

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

We’re a mish mash. My Mexican grandfather is a descendant of a famous Irishman, who is my 7th great grandfather. Every other ancestor of his was from Mexico. You never know where you could come from until you start looking into it. But I think most people in America consider the UK to be Northern Europe whether that’s accurate or not.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think anybody in Europe thinks UK is Northern Europe, especially Northern Europe and UK.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. Each person has 4 grandparents. Mine are English, Irish, Welsh and Dutch.

I was born in South Africa, then moved to England
And met and married an Australian and moved there.

We have friends from 4 different countries

When Dump talks about immigrants
Maybe he should look at his wife (wives) first before his judgement

But he won’t

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Bold of you to assume that he might think the rules apply to him.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He doesnt even understand what century he’s living in

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His grandparents were (illegal) German immigrants from Bavaria, and his mother came direct from Scotland. He’s not even historically that much of an American. But we don’t look at things like that. We used to say if you’re born here that’s good enough to be one of us. He’s ruining everything.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm of Irish descent.

We were definitely not accepted when we first got here.

Anyone whose family arrived with mine should know better than to treat anyone the way my family was.

3 weeks ago | Likes 113 Dislikes 3

Not the right kind of "white". Lots of Europeans weren't considered white for a long time.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, my "favourite" story is that there were times when the Irish didn't count as white people. Like, the Irish! They are the TEMPLATE of whiteness!

Racism and hate know no bounds.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

“When the Irish became White” documents the journey.

3 weeks ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

There's an Italian-American called Michael Franzese. He used to be a capo in the mafia, like his father before him. He's "born again", has a Youtube channel and is very much in the "nail the border shut and send everyone back" camp. The Italians were treated like shit when they arrived, and he spent most of his life as a criminal, having been born in America.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In a social policy project I once worked on, it turned out that older immigrants strongly rejected new immigrants, saying, "We had it very hard back then, and now the new ones are getting their asses gilded."

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sadly you see way too much of this kind of person too

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is sadly a minority view among Irish-Americans.
In Ireland we’re mostly proud to support the underdog but a majority of Irish Americans decided to pull the ladder up behind them at the earliest opportunity.

3 weeks ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it's really weird to know how my ancestors suffered so much, abandoned their homes, left everything they knew, went to a strange land across a whole ocean in disease ridden ships, all just to not have starved to death...only to see the descendants of those same people here be absolute shitbags 150 years later. If only ghosts could smack people across the back of the head...

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can be a natively born American and if you're not white the maga crowd will still tell you to go back where you came from. It's all about the racism.

3 weeks ago | Likes 263 Dislikes 3

Eventually even that won't be safe. You'll becthe wrong sort of white. Irish? Nah. Italian? Fuck off. There always has to be a 'Them' and an 'Us'.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hell they tell white librals to leave just because we criticize the madness.

3 weeks ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

Those dumb motherfucker have told native Americans to go back where they come from. They’re racists. They hate non whites, their origin doesn’t matter.

3 weeks ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Hey now!

They hate whites, too. They hate pretty much everybody.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Native Americans absolutely should do that though. In the sense of taking back what's theirs in the same way it was stolen from them. :3

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This. I've seen so many videos of people telling Natives to "go back to Mexico". To people in the goddamned Reservations.

Tell me about it. My mother is literally praying that AOC gets deported. She's Puerto Rican!

3 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

She's from New York, same place as their beloved orange god-king.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Trumpf is German, send him back to his fatherland to get arrested for being a nazi.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In all honesty, people forget Puerto Rico is part of the US petty constantly

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They don't want to know it

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even if you're white, cultists won't hesitate to throw you under the bus to avoid having critical thoughts about the cult leader. They will just make something up that, in their mind, justifies your demise, even if it's just "sometimes sacrifices have to be made".

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Then deport me back to fucking Ireland. I have the proof my great grandfather left Ireland for NYC. I have his immigration cards.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

the thing the americans have to understand is they arent wanted anywhere else in the world, you cant just walk into another country and live cos you are american, and more importantly, ireland doesnt want you and you arent welcome, its having its own all immigrants can go fuck themselves uprising, mostly inspired by the americans, but dont think thatll keep you out of the irish anti immigrant crosshairs, so stay where you are

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Your mom didn't want you but yet here you are.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can probably do that yourself then. Seriously.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's very iffy if whether or not they accept great grandparents as valid proof or not. My mother says I'm easily still 50% Irish. Both my GGs were Irish, from Ireland. My grandfather was Irish, both his parents were from Ireland. My grandmother was German. My dad was mostly Irish and German, same with my mom. So if not 50 then pretty damn close I guess?

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

IDK if they'll accept it, but I was actually looking this up today, and the questionnaire very specifically asks if, "your parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents were born on the island of Ireland, including Northern Ireland." So it might be worth taking another look at.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bet. I'll make some calls on Monday.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why always pointing at us in northern europe? The assholes that left here for america are the ones to blame. They didn’t WANT to be northern europeans. Meanwhile, we accept refugees and other immigrants here like there’s no tomorrow. Avert your anger elsewhere OP.

3 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

As long as Americans don't evade the responsibility of their own nation and their own actions it is not entirely unwarranted to talk about the historical colonialism. I have issue with the ones that skip straight to blaming Europeans of 2025 for the ancestors that aren't ours but theirs. European colonialism like all colonialism is a disease, but you can't blame others who live with different problems elsewhere for the problems your country has had several hundred years without much change

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Literally no one blames modern day Europeans for America and its troubles. Thats a silly argument. They are, however, your distant cousins not so far removed. You can’t wash your hands of genetic relations just because their ancestors left for what they thought would be a better life. We didn’t choose that, either.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe you should pay attention when this topic comes around, because there is always someone jumping straight to accusing Europeans if we dare say anything about the way America oppresses people. It's frankly ridiculous to answer to any matter that "this is not happening". Why the hell did I mention it if it's not happening and what does it benefit if you deny the existence of Americans refusing to take any responsibility of their own history? It's just more denial & avoidance of responsibility

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your entire argument seems to be avoidance and denial of responsibility of you own history. The next thing you're gonna say is that it's in the genes to act as you act or something equally ridiculous. Take responsibility, stop avoiding it. If you wanna talk about the colonialism between Europe and USA in the past go ahead. There's plenty of dirt there to talk about. But all your problems since Americans became Americans you have created yourself.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Puritans were a cult of whackjobs that even the Europeans wouldn't put up with. Now here we are...

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

You know, they're talking about you, huh?

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

We are your relatives. We descend from the same ancestors. No one’s pointing fingers at current day NE and saying y’all are to blame. Just pointing out that your distant cousins have no room to judge immigrants considering they’re from the same boat. They’re not better just because they’re whiter. It has nothing to do with modern day Europeans. Not everything is about you.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"we accept refugees and other immigrants here like there’s no tomorrow"
Total BULLSHIT! You sound like the Front National, the AfD, or the Fratelli d'Italia. Hostility towards refugees in Europe has exploded since the 2000s.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

This. At least based on the protests against Palestinian genocide have proved that the Arab-hate media had bred didn't succeed entirely. But especially countries that didn't have a long history of immigration (and that immigration of refugees mostly is entirely the fault of many western nations themselves) are struggling with the tensions it creates with the rightwing factors, but we can at least say that our cops don't shoot people of color, but that's about it.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

How did your dipshit excuse for a brain perceive my comment as national front or any other of those idiots? You must be one of those that are actively looking for ways to bend words to your own modus operandi. How about doing the world a favor and hold your head under water for a while? Or at least hold your nose, cross your legs and then fart. Maybe it’ll clear your head.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Just insults, but no explanation of what the quoted sentence could have meant other than what it appears to mean. So, hit a sore spot?

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

And your accusations weren’t insults? You don’t know shit about me, or where I’m from. Still you made your own twisted assumptions based on your own tinfoil hat existence. All in the good cause to appear righteous and better than everybody else. Especially in you own eyes. Take a good, hard look in the mirror, Mr pointy fingers, you’ll be surprised how petty and insignificant you come off.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Your factually incorrect claim about accepting refugees typically comes from the far right. I pointed that out. The fact that you're throwing such a tantrum about it is your problem, not mine. Have a good night and sweet dreams.
