I have been always thinking this. Israel is doing to Palestinians what Nazy Germany did to them. In my oppinion Israel uses antisemitism as a weapon to excuse what they are doing now because it is a touchy subject and is deflected. What it is even more cynical is they are one of the religious hubs that supposedly should promote peace and understanding.

It's more accurate to say hitler never really lost. The ideology he championed was carefully rescued by many different governments across Europe and the US/Canada during and after the war, and remains alive today. Though you could also point out that it was born in the US so it's not like that's how we got it.

Common misconception. America is not Western Isreal. Isreal is the 51st state.
Everything they do is on behalf of the US and with the approval of the US. If the US decided right this second that the gencoide stops, the genocide would stop.
But the US wants this to happen just as much as Isreal wants it to happen. AIPAC may make it seem like Isreal is coercing US politicians into support, but they have no real power.
This is America's genocide as much as it is Isreal's, if not more.

I don't want to diminish or absolve the Isreali government and IDF's responsibility in all of this, but it's also important not let people absolve the US by trying to claim we've been coerced.
It also doesn't help that it can lead to very real antisemetism. Critisizing Isreal is not antisemetic, but implying they control our politicians and media very much is.
