@op, don’t forget to use human words when you want him to do something, like say, “jump up!” And after he jumps up onto the couch, say “good jump up” so he knows which human words translate to which of his actions. Also, don’t forget to trim his claws once a week now as a kitten, so he doesn’t fight you to do it as an adult. It takes me 30 seconds to trim each of my cats’ nails, and they don’t fight me because I started early and was consistent.
