Makes a bit of sense considering Trump is really fucking over Walmart in multiple ways. His administration is cutting a lot of social nets. So Walmart is probably expecting sharp declines in profit. And their own workers that used to qualify for help are gonna be worse off. Which means more anger towards them is likely to crop up. Then we got the tariff bullshit that is probably fucking with their inventory costs. From a business standpoint, Trump is really really bad for them.

I think the idea is that they're upset that Walmart is buying into the "hysterical liberal" notion that Trump is trying to be king. Which *could* be understandable... if it wasn't for the fact that Trump is 100 percent trying to be king. Anyway, fuck MAGA.

Their bud light boycott due to a trans person being in an ad moved bud from the #1 to #2 spot of American sold beers (only in sales not actual volume I think). The #1 spot could then be claimed by Modelo, which has historically and openly flung lots of money at LGBT+ orgs and causes. So were they successful… kinda? Technically? Not really but sort of I guess, and that’s close enough for them.

I mean they also took full advantage of the lack of enforcement of the Robertson-Packman act started by Reagan to really screw over economies of pretty much all of rural america with their big box stores. Walmart also is the reason a lot of production moved overseas to keep those low low prices. There are no 'good guys' with these megacorps and billionaires, they shouldn't exist.
