"Erm, in the last image, Otto is soaked in hot fry oil, despite the fact that the Deep Fryer is clearly unplugged. Additionally, the oil is flowing out the top of the basket, rather than the basin. Geeze, I sure hope that someone was fired for that blunder."
I'll be straight on this one: The Simpson is a show every young "kid, teen, adult" should watch as they grow up through school life and such. It is mellow enough that it doesn't take sides with stuff in the world, but opens one's eyes and mind to alternative viewpoints.
I agree with you but with one exception. The show trivializes and normalizes alcoholism to such an extent that young people may think that problem drinking is funny.
The same concept as when Anakin uses what he learned from Sidious and mentions to Obi Wan: "THE WAY I SEE IT, THE JEDI ARE EVIL!" The sheer fact that even though we the viewer know it is obviously and incredibly wrong, but there is truth to the idea. How can the Jedi prove they are not evil? Never did even such a group of profound individuals ever had to answer such a challenge before.
