Yes, we all know cats (and humans) are safer when kitty is restrained or contained but Frank is happier so @TinyOctopus is happier and I’m sure he’s being super careful.
Let’s let Frank be Frank for a bit while he gets moved to a new place again.
Love to the Orange One and his cephalopod chauffeur!
Please don't do this. After a bad car accident when I was a teen, the firefighter who took me back to the station said he couldn't count how many dead pets he finds at car crashes because people refuse to keep them in a crate while driving.
I'm sure Frank the projectile kitten will be just as calm after you've had to slam on the breaks and hes smeared all over the windshield. Seriously, this is dangerous for the cat. Have a passenger hold a hand in the crate or something.
Seen a loose kitten after having to slam on your breaks to avoid an accident? I learned my lesson after my calm kitten climbed up my body to my face in .5 seconds using full claws.
My friend was an animal control officer for 20 years. Travelers with loose animals in the car were ALWAYS desperately calling her for help. Car accident - cat gets loose & panic runs into the woods. Hopping out to use the bathroom - unleashed dog slips out and runs onto the highway in a panic. Occasionally, rarely, there was a happy ending.
How incredible that he's already so comfortable with you! Is that normal for (non-feral) kittens, to be so unfazed by new humans and quick to chill with them?
My first was a three month old fluffy void that, after being brought into the adoption room to meet us, immediately hopped into my lap and went to sleep. Her first night, she cuddled up under my partner's chin and went to sleep.
She may have been special. Or maybe there was a good foster.

He is so chill!

When he gets bigger you may want to get him a harness and pet seat belt. He seems much happier in the car but out of the carrier.
mystic105f3000
My blind cat loves the harness and seat belt combo
CookieMonstersCrumbs
This! Start him young on getting used to the feel of being in harness and lead. It'll be so easy once he gets used to it.

Riding up nice & high in a traffic accident allows Frank to become a missile. Please reconsider - if you truly love Frank

Frank on Tour! Yay! =^.^=

Nothing like a road trip to bond with each other. Frank looks so relaxed already.

Have you ever not followed closely behind the car in front of you? Try it some time.

Have you never had something blow across the road in front of your car? Or wildlife run in front of it?

Aww, that little squeak at the end!!

Once a shoulder cat, always a shoulder cat. Schrodie has been doing this for 13 years.

Im sure "but we were happy" is a great excuse in the event of an accident.

I assume it’s a cellphone holder.

he has said he has a magnetic fone mount, and voice activated camera stuffs

This is adorable. Great bonding time before introduction to the new kitty siblings back home. He is so chill.

This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

100% worth it for Frank's commentary at the end 🧡

He looks at the camera like saying "don't forget to like and follow this channel, see ya!"

This is so dangerous though!

Seriously
HeywouldJablowme
STFU!
mrsdowneyjr
Why?
mystic105f3000
It is keeping Frank calm. He has always been a kitten more comfortable with at least 1 human/kitty to touch whenever he needs
normalizebeingalone
This is not an excuse.

My kid hated his car seat. You still buckle them.

No. My sweet baby was terrified when I brought him home. He spent 10 days living under my bed until he finally felt safe in the space.
keraos
Not always, but fairly often. Depends on the person a lot of the time, kitties pick up on good safe vibes

My orange spent his entire first weekend at home sitting on me, and that's still his favorite comfort spot. They are the mushiest and clingiest.

Had a kitten do the same thing on the ride home from picking him up, it can happen. He used to sleep on my mouse pad.

I dunno if im just high...but I have no idea what's going on with this pets heads in this photo.
SleepyHollowAppleTree
The top of his head is flat to the desk with his paw next to his ear. Cats are liquid.

It's only your parents had been responsible, they could have spared us from this comment.

Lol, watch your bloodpresure when seething this hard. :D

I care more about animals than I care about you.
HeywouldJablowme
Your true humanity coming through on this comment while you get to feel better about yourself. Fuck you.
HeywouldJablowme
Did Frank survive the car ride home? Yeah, he did. So take your fake virtue signaling elsewhere.
