All statistics taken from Wikipedia. To come up with most republican/democrat i took the percentage of republican voters and divided by the percentage of democrat voters.

Conclusion: After spending a couple hours working on this I think the curves have more to do with which region of the country a state is in than anything else. Since more the more Democratic states are in the north east, they got hit hard early and all enacted strict measures right away. Thereby getting their curves back down. But down south which has more Republican states, the virus didn't initially spread much. Same can be said for out west.

You own per 100k figures show how wide spread it is in the south thus your conclusion is way off base. Learn to stats bro.

I corrected my language that my conclusion was based off of initial spread. It is difficult to come down a curve when it hadn't spread 1/2

2/2 much in the first place. Thus down south and out west are starting the first curve, while the northeast has finished it.

You really do not know how to read data and make sound conclusions. I do this for a living - go read a stats book. Bye.

You are not welcome. It’s morons like you who make fancy posts with all the very wrong conclusions that help to spread the stupid.
