Last year I didnt get my gift which left me a real sad boy. But this year I also recognize that I cannot afford to even get my SO a gift for Christmas. Although I'd love to participate again and join in on the festivus for the rest of us. I will be sitting out and watching in jealousy yet again of all your wonderful gifts to one another. Enjoy this year! Enjoy the good times! And especially enjoy yourself!
Please let this die

you don't have to have money to make someone happy

You do need it to participate in a Secret Santa, however.

I agree. But I enjoy making a stranger happy too. Plan for SO was just to go star gazing with an open fire on Christmas Eve
