I'm a bit of a mess right now because Morti had to go in to the vet for dental...stuff. Probably some extractions. And a biopsy, maybe.

She's such a sweet, silly cat.

The vet just texted me letting me know she's 'resting comfortably' and will be going into surgery within the hour.

I'm a mess right now. Broke down and cried in the grocery store trying to figure out how to get a cart full of groceries through the self checkout.

My concerns about the bill are large, but completely overshadowed by my fear that these are my last pictures of her.

Anyway, I just wanted people to know she exists, and that she's a very good kitty.

UPDATE: The vet called. She's doing well under anesthesia. Six teeth need to be pulled, a bone graft, and they're going to biopsy a mass because it could be cancer. Worse than I expected, upper range of $2,800-ish. And they promised to keep the teeth for me.

Update 2: Vet texted. She's in recovery. Waiting for a call.

Update 3: They called. Price is slightly lower, so hooray. She's awake, and we're picking her up in...about three hours?

Morti's very spicy sister is actually in my lap right now.

Update 4: She is home. And very drugged. Her sister is afraid of her right now.
