I've known from pretty close that employers will first explicitly ask for "only white" resumes from temp agencies, once that got outlawed, the term became "native", until they got reprimanded for that. Then it became code, in this case "BBB", which referenced a specific case of white cows. When that came out, it became a huge national scandal, a lot of hubbub... And nothing really changed, people are racist, government tries to make them less racist, people just find other ways of being racist.

Actually they were put in place to protect corporations from lawsuits when they discriminated. Now it's seen as a liability to potentially getting sued by sweet potato hitler they're ripping it out fast as they can. Companies only ever do things in self interest let's not pretend like they actually cared about equity and diversity.

No rational person would anthropomorphize an operating agreement to engage in a business venture with some sort of divine moral spirit. That's insane. DEI was part of a legal framework enacted by we the people through legislation and stock pricing and purchasing habits that made fairness an operating advantage and the market responded. Trump has made overt support for white supremacy an operating advantage and, surprise, markets are responding. To end it, end Trump.

I can find nowhere that any job requirements or qualifications were changed for DEI hires. Only that concerted effort was made to either make hiring processes more blind to race and gender, or actively seek out and contribute to the successes of those who would not otherwise benefit from nepotism, boys club mentality, or assumed competency based on their race or gender.

What's hilarious (it isn't), is that you can see what Anti DEI has immediately resulted in. Incompetance through and through. Sham hirings based solely on their perceived value and loyalties vs actual skill and dedication. And the people who are carrying out these anti DEI ideals are equally as inept as their peers and the people they put in power. We see the incompetance play out on the world stage and it only hasn't floundered due to humanities overwhelming apathy.
