I built this with another 3d artist "Lukasz". The VFX and the set design and lighting were done my myself. I did not model the main building but did add decals and the smoke, screen displays and so on. I also modelled the dumpsters on each side of the building and the lamp our front.

With procgen models and textures plus raytraced lighting - the next decade of indy games is going to be very very interesting. Good bye cookie cutter "AAA" bs!

Yeah it is still super time consuming to do this stuff but there are so many tools now making it entirely possible to build a game on your own as I am doing. However, I think the BEST way to build a game in 2025 is to build up a team of 1 -5 people and sit down and choose a game you are all super passionate about and spend 3-5 years building it. Doing it on your own is a great way to build skills and waste time on a failed game. Making games is fuckin hard.
