Let's see, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is available to what 8 billionish people? The Medal of Honor is only available to US servicemembers and veterans, so like 24ish million? Just the exclusivity alone devalues the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Do we even need to discuss the irony of a 'medal of freedom' being awarded by someone who tried to overthrow the US government and was reluctant to leave office after they lost an election ?

I am friends with a lot of vets (we kind of congregate and find each other)... and the ones that support Trump are usually Air Force, I don't know why... maybe it is the lack of direct threat against the majority of USAF enlisted... But a lot of friends are fellow grunts and we, to a man, hate that fuck... we see him as the antithesis of why we joined, why we served and (for some of us) why we faced enemy fire.... a close friend is an artilleryman from the 82nd (lived in a FDC in Afghanistan)...

Trump shouldn't be getting a single vote from anyone... but he is likely to carry quite a few states (legitimately, like without his plan to refuse to certify, he will absolutely win in Arkansas, Alabama, Wyoming, etc...)
The reality here is Trump knows that if he does not win the presidency, he is going to die in prison... that is why he is terrified.

I spent 10 years in the US Army, four on active duty, infantry, in USAREUR... the rest were in the National Guard and USAR.
I know a lot of veterans, and all of us are supporting Harris... this may be my own selection bias tho, the pro-trump veterans I do know, I am no longer in contact with (we disagree on too many issues, like whether the VA should be funded or if calling us suckers and losers is a disqualifier (to his credit on the last, he doesn't believe his hero ever said it).
