Only if it is marketable. Because that's what a personal brand comes down to - selling yourself to make more money than the guy next to you.
A good example of what a "personal brand" really is would be the playing card scene from My Cousin Vinny.

"Personal brand" is used by usually finance bros who go in, buy up a company, spin it around to inflate its profit, and sell on a marked up margin, and repeat. Sohrce: I just walked away from a pest control company as an operations manager because of that said personality and his "personal brand."
