A number of animals are TRYING to get domesticated. Foxes and racoons. Pigeons USED to be domesticated, and they'd like to be domesticated again, thank you very much.
What people tend to forget is that for every example of a human being an evil bastard to animals just because, you have a hundred humans wanting to pet the fuzzies, feed the birdies, and save the whales. We have emission free ways to generate all the power humanity will ever need. But we don't because about 20 companies would make less money. Like France uses nuclear power to generate ~70% of its power. The largest emission source after power generation is transporting materials and goods around the world
