The AI version now used doesn't look up words against a dictionary, or grammar against a style guide. The AI versions use the LLM model, and "correct" what you type in comparison to other posts, altering word choice & making changes to popular misspellings and homophones. It's infuriating.

It’s been infuriating! It took me way too long to find it and shut it down, it was so much worse than autocorrect. And now Google ;maybe Apple products, I forget) are highlighting my grammar choices in red but you have to pay for AI to get corrections. My grammar is fine, it’s the red highlighted words all over my pages that I cannot make go away, I swear to god I’m about to go back to a typewriter or find a functional Apple LE with 1997 software

I don't know the context here, but I suspect his ball was in a lot less favourable position and his caddy picked it up and then discreetly re-positioned it, which you see in the video. Where the ball ends up is on "smooth" grass, which is a lot easier to hit than if the ball was in the long grass that is closer to the camera location.

In golf, you want to hit the ball into the hole in the fewest number of swings by playing each swing from where the previous landed. To make it a more challenging, courses put obstacles (like sand pits, different lengths of grass, etc) to hit around. Trump's caddys (people who carry your clubs and help you out) dropped a new ball in (presumably) a better spot than it actually landed.

We also see Trump waiting in the gold cart until the ball is released by the caddie before suddenly getting out quickly to go hit the ball. If you had witness statements of a guy bragging about having committed murder, have evidence of a victim getting into his car, and further evidence that he packed up and left in a hurry after the body was found, it would still be considered a circumstantial case. The defense lawyer would make the same argument you are, and the guy would likely go to prison.
