Wow two harsh responses there. You know nothing of the kid and what worries him. An animal attacking is pretty unnerving. Yes. He should look where he’s going but I bet even when you were an older teenager you were still in the ‘kinda ditzy in the real world’. Plus: you never make a mistake? Looks like the arch of his foot goes over the tail so probably just spooked the cat anyway not actually injured.
That kid needs to calm down about the cat. Wow. He stepped on the cats tail (yes accidentally) but how often does it happen where the other cat reacted like that>
Or the kid could take some responsibility for himself. Completely aloof and then screeches as if he's losing a limb. Wouldnt have even cared if he threw the cat or something even. Kid's just completely disassociated
Alternatively the kid could learn to watch where he's walking instead of staring off in a completely unrelated direction. Also, pets can actually understand if you apologize to them; not that they understand the words "I'm sorry" of course but if you give them affection immediately after it lets them know you haven't suddenly turned mean and are out to get them
"Im sorry" he says to the 8 pound killing machine that still thinks it's an apex predator despite being an indoor cat and only 8 pounds. It's a fuckin cat. Even if a cat "could" understand an apology *which it cannot* it's a fuckin cat. They don't give a fuck about your platitudes. Cats are assholes if they want to be and they want to be alllllll the time. It's not like that kid hauled off and kicked the cat, but I certainly would give it thought if that cat came at me like that again.

That boy sounds like he's straight out of Deliverance.

They really cut the budget on this new final destination movie eh?

I think this is that Paranormal Remake, "what if instead of not seeing a ghost, you saw a cat", doesn't quite hit the same

That’s two more video cameras than I want watching me in my home.

Let's have a cat dig its claws into your backside and see how calm you remain.

We have three cats, our daughter is 8 and none of us have ever freaked out over a scratch, not that we get them very often.
koyote2033
Lets have someone ten times your size walk on you and see how calm you remain
TheMellowMoron
Don't lay where people walk and you won't get accidentally stepped on, furry little dumbass. Good dog for protecting kiddo
koyote2033

Cat that got stepped on seems to have accepted the outcome. Other cat went to pick a fight over it. Good boi shut it down.

Nah, get rid of the kid, keep the cat. The kid didn't gaf about platitudes or whatever tf you were trying to say either
filiuspelei
Wow, you really dont like cats
TheMellowMoron
Ammonia sensitivity makes being around them suck. People can enjoy their cats, I just don't. It's why I choose not to have one.
