This perfect panther is dying, aggressive cancer destroying his insides
Spent a horrible week trying to diagnose severe anemia & that's how they found the cancer
We insisted on taking him home to have some time with him. Dash is bright-eyed & has his big appetite...but his time is short
Every day he demands to be a lap cat while I work. Then he purrs and I cry into his lovely fur.
There's an at-home end of life appointment for next week in place. We're desperately hoping he stays stable til then and our hearts are breaking.
Dash was an abandoned stray but for 5.5 yrs he's had the good life. It's unfair we won't have longer- fuck cancer ;-(

The same thing happened to my George. The at home option was perfect because he went peacefully on my lap on his favorite porch, but that's a very tough appointment to keep... I kept wanting to cancel. I'm so sorry for what you're going through, and are about to go through

I can relate to your pain, I've lost 2 cats to cancer and on friday I'm going to lose another. I've had her since she was a 6 week old kitten. I suggest you do what I am doing just cuddle him, give lots of treats and make sure he knows he is loved, be there at the end holding him and telling him how much you love him.
