Lucifer

God spoke and created heaven, angels, and the universe.

He created all living things, and finally -mankind. He gave man creativity, imagination, and love, like Himself. Man was His most beloved creation, and there was no separation between us.

Lucifer, Prince of Light, was one of God's most powerful angels. Disgusted by God's love for mankind, he decided he didn't just want to serve God. He wanted to be God.

He convinced 1/3 of the angels to join him in mutiny. And there was war in heaven.

Defeated by the Archangel Michael and the faithful, Lucifer and his angels were stripped of their name and separated from God for all eternity -a state we would later name hell.

Unable to achieve victory through force, Lucifer, now called Satan, resorted to sabotage. Disguised as a snake, he convinced mankind that they should be god.

Unwittingly joining Satan's in rebellion, mankind's perfect relationship with God was shattered. As rebels, we were now also sentenced to be separated from God for all eternity.

Unwilling to accept His beloved's fate, God came in human form, Jesus, and paid the price in death -as the only human who wasn't guilty.

With the connection restored, mankind is able to once again be in community with God through Jesus.

I realize in our western culture most people are aware of this story and the beliefs of Christianity. I also realize that imgur is not a very faith friendly place. But I figure no matter what you believe, or believe in nothing at all, you might find it interesting or thought provoking. At the very least, you may not have heard it explained like this and learned something new. It took hours to make all these gifs, but I've been thinking about it for a while and really wanted to share with you guys.
