Well the first girl deserved it, but not the people she took down with her.

Never get yourself into a dominoes situation. Its why many of us are wary of being in crowds and take defensive driving courses, for instance. Not because we are cowards, we simply don't trust the rest of the stupids to stay in their own lanes

DESERVE IT?

I mean, she definitely EARNED it.

Dunno about DESERVE. She out here kicking puppies or something?

Deserve and earn are synonyms. She engaged in a behaviour that endangered not only her, but also others, and thus deserved to fall on her ass.

They have different meanings. Deserve implies a level of moral judgment.

She made a rather simple mistake. You make many every day. As we all do. Do you Deserve harm each time? Does everyone?

I think that if you say yes, you're either just doing it to win an argument or genuinely have something wrong with you.

Mistake?! She was jumping from machine to machine, playing around. That is deserving of a lesson, I'd say. And falling on your ass is an appropriate amount of "harm" for doing that around other people, so, I guess I'm a psychopath in your book. And I am still saying that they are synonyms, btw. Saying she earned it implies moral judgement too.

Do you have context I lack?

Is there more video here that you can see that I can't see?

It looks to me like she was getting off the treadmill while not paying attention to her feet.

Stupid, but not 'jumping from machine to machine, playing around'.

Why do you crave people getting hurt due to a momentary lapse of judgement?
