Halfway through!

I had never been to this shop before (South Town Tattoo Collective in Reno) but I knew they were my kind of people when I saw they were giving these stickers away. Also, a lot of the art on the walls were about resistance and inclusiveness. Thanks to Carlos for making me less ashamed of my arm =)

Darth and destroy. I love it, reminds me of the end of rogue 1

This is a little weird to me because wasn't Darth Vader a major leader of the space Nazis? I mean, the soldiers are even called Stormtroopers. I feel like this is getting Himmler's face tattooed on you because the radiation symbol is associated with nuclear weapons.

As a Vader apologist, I must point out that he had a space wizard manipulating his mind and also an entire facet of space magic working against him, and he still attempted to redeem himself in the end. Plus, he looks cooler than Himmler.

Himmler was real. Darth Vader is fictional.

To be fair, the symbol underneath also represents something fictional.

You're not being very fair when you pretend not to remember that the symbol wasn't covered because of the something fictional it represented but because of the connection to someone real.

Well in that case, Darth Vader has a very strong connection to Disney, arguable a very evil corporation.

Yet was not created by Disney so arguably has a less strong connection.

I don't recognize what you covered up, but if it was a symbol of hate, good on you. Welcome to the team.

The Deathly Hallows symbol. Rowling is a hateful terfy seaward and a lot of Potter kids are no longer wanting to be associated with her.

Ahh, thank you for the clarification, I just spent like 10 mins reverse google image search the thing and couldn’t find out why it was a hate symbol. Ty again!

Thank you. I was wondering if it was a symbol that op was aware was one of hate when they got it, or one that became one of hate over time. Sounds like it's the latter. Nice work, op!

It's not a symbol of hate. It's just a terrible person's work is all. Like Hitlers paintings were not inherently hateful, but I wouldn't hang one in my house.

I went from "you can hate the artist and love the art" to "okay, everything connected to this thunderbundt has to go."

Good for you. Proud of you.

I don’t have a clever response so here’s “All Star” by Smash Mouth performed by Star Wars clips.

I'll be keeping this. Have a +1

I'd say it depends on how vocal they are about their views. People can have opinions quietly, and people can scream about them loudly.

Rowling bought up the only trans-inclusive women's shelter in the UK and made it trans-exclusive, as I recall. She's a real piece of...work.

Loud opinions of rich people are fairly terrible
