When it rains it pours it seems. We had an unfortunate event happen which caused rain to pour in onto our first and second floor. Luckily we were able to catch it before it got really bad but alas, here we are...again.
At least this time it isn't the entire house but just our bathrooms. Now we have to dry it all out before work can be done.
Oh hey, not to code wiring! We're just going to put that over there....
After assessing the damage, I flopped down on the couch and Jasmne came for cuddles. Oh, also broke my front tooth so, I got that going for me. So, how's your week going?

My mom first time in the 39 years on this earth gave me responsibility. I am to watch over their two spoiled cats but it wasn't forsure haha. My mom's bf wanted to make sure one of them accepted me or he wasn't going on the trip because he wanted someone here incase of thunderstorms. So pretty good just wish I could eat more than a single grill cheese a day, I am glad to see more posts though I love the fur family

It's been a week, someone I have known for over a decade was apparently kidnapped from his jobsite yesterday. He is a gentle man, a good man, a jokester and a hard worker. (I run a business that provides materials to the construction industry, and things are awful out there). There have been sightings of unmarked vehicles all over my city driven by masked thugs. It is scary out there and a lot of my friends are in danger. This hurts my heart.

It's breaking my heart. Fernando is a good dude, I can't imagine what he is going through right now. Everyone is so scared, my buddy Vicente is carrying around a pair of instant translator devices because he is afraid they won't listen to him (we helped him set them up yesterday)-he is legal with papers but ICE doesn't seem to be paying attention to that. I had dental insurance for my husband and cost about $1,100 a year plus free cleanings upto twice a year. The max payout was only $1,500 a year. When his teeth needed repairs they denied the claim because "his teethneeded to be pulled" When he finally did have his teeth removed they denied the claim because "they could have repaired his teeth. "Long story short I'm in debt for 20 grand.

HEY! A fellow sufferer from rain bullshit. Problem is we live in an apartment too so the ceiling falling in 3 times but the leak has not been fixed. We just have one big ass 300W fan to dry with though.

Got it in one. And sometimes its not even rain but the AC system with a shitty drainage issue overflowing into our bedroom. Really cool place for $1000 a month (utilities not included)
