This has been my Thanksgiving Turkey recipe for the past six years.

Trimmed bits are ground and turned into sausage for the stuffing.

The turkey gets transported with the pins still in to prevent the possibility of falling apart. We always cook, but don’t usually host. Feeds 8-10.

Prep time is about an hour and a half. Cook time is about three hours at 375°F. Serving is super simple and leftovers are even easier due to lack of carcass.
