Thanks! I came up with a few more so I have to get more ships. They’re all really stupid like “Satisfying Deuce,” “The Freshmaker” & “Unnecessary Evil”
All my ships have a penguin theme. Cause...yeah lol. I name my guns goofy stuff. I've got a Negotiator with a hair trigger and Hornet rounds called, "The Geneva Suggestion" - it's my ship-clearing weapon lol
Yeah so far I’m not hating it but I just wish there was more there: they set up this big post-war astropolitical landscape & you get what? 4-5 cities spread out over a few dozen stars and literally the same Abandoned Mine copy/pasted on a hundred different moons in different gravities? That with the abysmal mission/level/fast travel/inventory/ship management menu & the missions that you can complete by literally just fast traveling once…
I think 2 things would have dramatically improved it: 1) more cities/active settlements. Multiple per major solar system. This would make the world feel more real & lived in. 2) Some variety in dungeons: the fact that they only made a single Abandoned Mine map & reused it everywhere is downright amateurish.
I enjoyed it, but I agree that it was underwhelming for what it was. I’m really hoping the modding community can step up and actually make it worth a few more replays.

I had a great 346 hours playing it; in 10 years maybe it'll be worth another 700 or 800 hours (like Skyrim).

Was Shippy McShipface taken?

This game was so underwhelming, heard a great description of it on a YT clip recently: "Playing Starfield is like wearing wet socks"

Yeah, underwhelming is the right word.

But there is SO much wrong with it, it's hard to pin down what you could do to fix it. They tried to do too many things and nearly all of it was meh.

The worst part to me is that *there’s something there* - like they could have spent another year on it & delivered something *amazing*
