A bonus for Black Cat Day: Shelter void with 5 paws

I just happened to have this photo on-hand, since I commented it last week on a post about polydactyl cats. Photo by me, from about 15 years ago at a shelter I worked at.

This fellow was a stray that was named Maximilian at the shelter. Three of his paws had extra toes, while his fourth actually split at the heel into two paws. You can't really see here, but the latter half were fully separate. Kind of like a conjoined twin tried to form but didn't get too far.

As far as I can recall, this friendly void was healthy and adopted.
