We've had dry spring in the UK, right up until the BBC told us it was so, and the kids got off school.. It's rained every day since last Friday, really heavily. But we still get water restrictions in a temperate country known for constant rain, damp sheep and rugby (in the rain ofc). At the same time water companies are handing out massive CEO bonuses after the regulator banned them, disguising them in the HR "retention" budget. Your sentiment is spot on.
