ME2BNS12
Mine used to just curl up on my head like a toupe
redsmerf
What, no butthole to the face? The cat doesn't know how to cat!
bigdukesix
i read that cats in the wild are very light sleepers so when they see their human zonked right out, they get concerned for them
jakkejakke22
Human style black-out sleeping freaks them out.
Coltaine
I'm a really heavy sleeper, so my cat has rarely been patient enough to actually wake me up.
TinyLiehon
@OP you can sort favorites from old to new

Just this morning I woke up with one of mines curled up in my arm, I didn't even remember her getting there

WAKE THE FUCK UP
Quickbrownfox11
My old man kitty would run to me "brrrting" the whole time if I laid down anywhere He loved being little spoon. I miss him bad, fuck cancer.
feelingmeh
If I'm taking a nap, my cat curls up beside me silently and I wake to an adorable croissant. 4 am? HEY! HERE'S MY BUTTHOLE. MEOOOWW

Our cat is supper chill. We go to bed, and he goes with us, and if he decides to leave in the middle of the night, he does quietly.
hetherweaversmagic
Well La-Tee-Dah
ThatShiftyMonkey
What are you doing sleeping? That's what midday sunbeams are for. This is prime hunting time!
baldewok
The only thing better than being licked awake by a cat smelling of garbage bin is waking up to a cat butthole right next to your eyeball.
dmd3eorg
it’s that old ad. “the best part of waking up is butthole in your eye”
scoutMoonDiver
Or opening your eyes just in time to see the cat jumping to attack your face because you were snoring.

Lost my cat a few years ago. THiS right here is what I miss the most. Would wake me up at 3:00am and get under the covers for cuddles
Astramancer
I lost my cat a few months ago. It was only after he was gone that I realized I had shaped the entire way I sleep around him.
Yizelin
Oof, I hear ya. After losing mine it took a LONG time to lose the association of my blanket settling on my legs with when they'd step in D:
Silversalvation
Cat parents. Aka the people that can go to the bathroom and cook a midnight snack without waking up. I am not that person.
Fiance has a cat the meows constantly. I am woken up every time. She doesn't even acknowledge she was petting the cat for 30 minutes.
CaptainAwesomeMofo
Cat just came from shuffling turds in its litter box ,then walking all over the pillow like that ?

I sleep far less soundly since I lost my fur baby last July. She always came to sleep with me when I went to bed.

Quite the meowstro.
Vasnivy
So many biscuits being made!
LerryV2
How can a cat weigh 10 lbs have feet that feel like spikes when walking on you

All my cats had different personalities. Only one liked to sleep next to me and he always chose to curl up and sleep right near me >
all the others preferred to sleep in my arms like a baby but not while I slept.
Ruik
So many adults don't have doors on their bedrooms.

Oh God I feel this. My cat does literally the EXACT thing, clawing at the blanket, face snuggles, and all
Mindshard
Every post about cats reminds me of how great mine was. He'd snuggle until I fell asleep, then go to sleep by my legs so he wouldn't 1/?
wake me when he got up to explore. When he was hungry in the morning he's come snuggle and be the little spoon and go back to sleep 2/?
so he'd wake up when I did. A nightmare as a kitten, trained him well as an adult. 3/3

Does the woman know about the camera?
ArielUnderfoot
Oh my god, did you take a video of me this morning? Cuz that is exactly what happened to me at 4am. Of course, my face and cat changed, but
Quizz25S
My cat doesn't bother me at night. Yes she sleeps with me.
Elvirana
Our bedrooms are cat free zones for various reasons. This is one of them.
CormacTheCat
We ended up shutting our kitties in a separate section of the house. They're not huge fans, but I'm old, I need my sleep, and I pay the rent
igetit41
We do that as well and have done forever. Cats, like most animals including humans, learn from consistency. So no yowling or scratching.
Mikey667
Same here. They come and snuggle for 30 mins. Then we are both too hot and its out you go kitty !
crikeycricket
I also sleep with my door closed. I wouldn’t bother the cat when he’s sleeping so I won’t let him bother me when I’m sleeping!
swiggityswootypointandshooty
My cat goes into bed with me when I go sleep and cuddles with me and then she goes to her place in my bedroom :D works perfectly
WhiteKnighted
My cat can hang in my roommate's room just fine, because she's the calm cuddling one. I'm the one for play, so he can't tolerate my sleep.
schismatosis
Tried that with my ex's cats and they would fucking yowl at the bedroom door all night
NotStephanie
I get really cranky without good sleep. We keep the door closed and the cat out.
sheriwallace123
This makes me feel so much better to read. I do the same thing, but make sure she gets plenty of attention during the day
I let him nap with me :)
CharlesCajica
And then they rip up all the carpet under your door lol
Shaggymom
Mine doesn’t. We did the lock out for bed from day one and NEVER ever respond to him at night time. He seems good with it.
spacecowboyein
My cats will scratch on my door if I lock them out. Easier to let them in. They typically won't bother me until my alarm goes off.
gallopinggoldfish
We put a pet gate in the hallway so they can’t beg at the door. It’s tall enough that they can’t jump over it. Great investment.
landbaronness42
My cat did this. I crawled out of bed at 3 am and tossed half a cup of water in his face. Never did it again. Mom grumpy at night.
Maverickaura
By letting them in when they scratch, they were trained to scratch to get in.
I dunno. I spent 5 years spraying them with water, saying BOO, or running the vacuum cleaner when they scratched the door. They still do it.
vegivamp
We stopped at six months. Some cats just want to be with you. Our Bast doesn't even sleep on the bed, he just needs to know he can get to us
Ferrix didn't care one bit about the closed door, but once it was open he slept in our room with us every single day. Loki will stay
Fyffer
Mine would just lie down on my legs and sleep with me. Never woke me up.
