I am only 10 years older and I dealt with that from my 20's to my 40's. My peers who were 5 to 10 years older than me, struggled with being near poverty but still somehow could buy houses. This is new, this is wronger than what we all lived through
Gas went up in '99 from under a dollar to over 2 in a year. It jumped to $4 or $6 on 9/11 and finally settled on $2.60 ish. Then it jumped to over $4 again in '08, avg rent rent for a 2 bedroom in a shitty neighborhood jumped from $400 to 750 a month
