Went to college 1979. that is what we had. Almost bought a TRS80. Went into Tool and DIe instead of computers.

I remember 1.44mb floppies coming out and my classmates saying we could never fill them. Years later autocat was 20ish floppies just to install it

My favorite punched card story: A friend, just before handing over a deck for processing, said, "Hang on," took a large chunk of the cards at the back and shuffled them, then handed the whole thing over to the bewildered operator.
