Catsharks are a diverse group of small, bottom-dwelling sharks belonging to the family Scyliorhinidae. They are characterized by their slender bodies, flattened heads, and distinctive, cat-like eyes, which are adapted for seeing in low light conditions. There are around [s]160[/s] 161 species of catsharks, found in various marine habitats worldwide

Now I wish I had said "catshark" instead 😸

They can also be found on Twitch, where they're known to be extremely popular streamers. https://imgur.com/dHmbVgm

How does the cat not hate this?

If exposed early np. Or certain breeds np.

One thing people didn't mention as a possibility. This may be an elderly cat with bad joints and that feels amazing on the joints. My sisters cat used to hate water now he does this because of the relief to the joints

Some cats can get comfortable, as long as they know they aren't going to sink.

I had a cat that liked water as long as it wasn't running. A lot of cats are far more scared of a faucet than a calm pool of water. My kitty liked to lay down in a warm bath every now and then, but she had to be out of the room when I filled it.

Cats are weirdos. There are breeds known for liking water, but some individuals will just because cats are weirdos. I've heard of cats that come running when they hear the shower and want to get in. I've seen a cat that liked to sit on the edge of a tub and put his tail in the water. There's video of a scuba diving cat where the owner made it a diving suit, and the cat is really pretty chill about the whole water thing.

Agreed. My cat is intensely interested in the faucets running water choosing to paw at it then look at me like "are your seeing this magic shit?" But goes into a panic when I'm in the shower because I look trapped in the water.

Some cats like water. The Turkish Von breed in particular has a high ratio of liking the water versus hating it.

My cat is a giant ball of fluff, and he likes water. Anytime I fill up a sink and look away for a second, I hear a shameless "sploosh."

Russian Blues, too. Mine fucking LOVED water. Would hop into our stream, roll around in the rain and jump in bath water.

Yep!! I had one that would drink water out of a sink faucet and let it run all over his face
