The following is a chronological series of my favourite photos I took from my backyard in Niagara on my birthday last week. Normally that wouldn't result in much to show for, but the heavens put on quite the spectacle this year. Enjoy :)

What were you shooting with?

Sony A7RIII, with a Sigma 100-400mm lens. Stacked 16 stops of ND filter on front in case the clouds cleared when not during totality. Then put it on a tripod and fired away.

I was shooting with a Rebel T7i and a Sigma 150-600mm lens. The sun was 16x bigger in frame compared to my pictures from 2017.
