Next in my list?

A small midi controller.

That was an old PS/2 to 5-pin DIN adaptor for a really old PC keyboards and I exploited it with no remorse.

Because I've bought only some resistors and I didn't read all the documents trough, I can't get the input before I'll buy some more components like optoisolators and other stuff. So this has to be the the second thing I can try.

Can and woul'd I trust my self with my setup and connect it to my only MIDI in?

It took some time, but I was still enough brave to connect it to my only one audio interface.

That's rad. I slowed down on my arduino programming a ton but I still use them for led projects that don't need wLED levels of customization. I'm also amazed you can get a whole midi controller out of one

This LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER's simple midi controller setup was an one the sparks for my inspiration, when I got the thought of starting really to do someting like this. Also there's DMX input in my list in the future after I've scored the MIDI input. I've some old DMX cheap controller for testing.

Okay I had a reply typed out to the other one and hit enter and it disappeared and I thought maybe for a second I was losin it :D That's a rad link. I don't do any MIDI but I got a buddy who does and I asked if they would want one, cause I think that would be a cool project. So thanks for the link.

Also I'm waiting four meters of WS2812B led strip, two different ESP32 boards, 10W 5V 230V power supply, and lot's of other basic stuff coming via mail in this month.

This is just a starting point and prototyping.

Sounds like you are getting setup! If you are getting esp32's definitely check out wLED! It is the bomb for custom led strings that you can update quickly. https://kno.wled.ge/

Yes, wLED is one of my marks to complete.
