An Atlas a day!

Sorry it’s been so long. Between learning about the shitty downfall of this app, and my healing/recovery process, I’ve just felt a bit far away from myself and not inspired to post. I had my post-op appointment last Tuesday and got some not great news that I’m struggling with. My birthday and the traumatic two year anniversary of horrifically losing my former soul dog is this Wednesday. I just have a lot of giant feels to sift through. And I’ve felt very lonely. So I brought my melancholy to the sea. I have a free place to stay and very little appetite, so I do have the ability to get away while I heal. There is still a lot I can’t do and I get tired and sore so easily, but at least we are by the sea.
Atlas already smells like low tide, but he’s happy as a clam that we’re here. He just had a bath after rolling in poo on Wednesday (he’s 30lbs, and I’m not supposed to lift more than 10), so what a time to get yucky again and live in his truest form- filthy. He’s been a very good boy, as always.
