Me whenever I hear someone mention enjoying Salmon Run more than base Splatoon.
They flattened my baby boy!
Nintendo doesn't understand internet multiplayer. Like at all.

I loved Splatoon (S rank) and Splatoon II (X+9 rank). But I let it go at the end there.

I somehow managed to "Mr. Bean" my way into S once. Good lord... Never again. I willingly demoted, the game is more fun when playing with people who are as bad as me.

Yeah that was the problem. I wound up playing every game hating my team for the slightest error. So I deleted my data and enjoyed starting over. But then I was just slaughtering Ewoks, so ultimately I gave up. It's a game mechanics issue, need a "fun" way to play with people around my level.

This was ultimately what made me lean hard into Salmon Run. It's much harder to be mad at a PvE game than it is to be at PvP.

*YES* This! I liked Salmon run a lot and wound up with a ton of upgrades for my main wardrobe.
