A belemnite is an extinct cephalopod, sort of a squid in a shell. The bullet-like shells are often found as fossils. In one particular region in Russia, orbs of pyrite (fools gold) form around the base of the belemnite. This one has a few, er, orbs. From the Djeganas River, Karachaevo-Cherkesiya, Russia.
