As long as you can get over the smell sörströmming aint too bad if served with potatos, flat bread, red onion and sourcream, it is jsut really salty/sour tasting

but.....why make it smell so disgusting ?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well to get the taste you gotta ferment it and old fish is enver gonna smell nice.

I’ve never had Rocky Mountain oysters, but I’ve had turkey testicles which I’d guess are similar. Not horrendous, but I can do without.
And I like Marmite, so I’d be willing to give Vegemite a try.

Can we add Pineapple Pizza from America? Rocky Mountain Oysters look normal by comparison

What’s the opposite of flavor town? The place where all these horrors converge…gut churning grotto? Icky city? Vomitous village? Unpalatable Pueblo…

Century Egg, Bosintang, Vegemite, and two others ... tried. seen several others, my nose said "No."

The fact that haggis didn't even make this list is wild.

Meh haggis is just fine tbh.

Lots of oysters in the rocky mountains.

scat is technically a category of porn, unfortunately

I don’t know.. it’s pretty fucked?

Not with that attitude

I feel like Vegemite, while polarizing, doesn't really belong on this list...

I’m sure the Swedes would say the same about sürströmming…

I think the smell of sürströmming earns it a place on the list. All of these are foods that a group of people enjoy, but anything that smells so bad it once got a man evicted from his apartment, I'm willing to say is a strange food.
