I left the right side diffuser dangling just to see the difference and woah. A lot of light is being cut by the black diffuser. It’s a COB led strip. 24volts, brand name: BTF. Neutral white, 524 leds per meter.

It does look great though.

Stealthy!

How much did that setup cost you?

Can you detail what you’re asking? Are you referring only to the led setup? If so: the led channels and acessories were 50 euros, the led strip around 15, the power supply 10, and I used a Shelly smart plug but you can find any other cheaper wifi smart plugs that do the same.

Diffuser snap into teh black channel? Can you leave it out?

Yes I can remote it but then you see the interior and the led strip is white :/

Ah, for some reason I figured it was low enough you wouldn't see in. I'd still leave it out, better light!

Well you’re right! I certainly don’t see it! But my wife is a hobbit :/ also, humidity from cooking and heating water could be a problem.

No idea on the hobbit issue, but the led strip is fine, other than cleaning if it will get splattered. In that case, use the diffuser because you can remove and clean...
