Bored in quarantine.

I decided this past weekend it was time to rip apart my shotgun and give it a bit of a facelift.

Sanded the original finish off both the forend and the stock, then prepared it for the lichtenberg burn.

Comparing the oil finish I planned on using with the original finish on the forend. Sadly I didn't get a picture of the naked forend before applying the finish.

My shotgun reassembled and buffed up. I'm very happy with the natural look and glad I decided not to fill the lichtenberg burns with a resin.
