Step one: draw a circle. Step three: draw the owl.

Hope he has more than Brad nails holding that OBS together, otherwise it's just going to fall over when you lean on it.

Why would you do all of that work and put that cheap looking "brick" on the outside. Inside is fine, outside should be prettier

When you make/order one, you can decorate it the way you want. I'm sure no one would ever disagree with your choice.

I could do this too, but I would get in trouble for doing it in the living room.

If you put that thing on your roof, Santa is not gonna get in!

My plan this year is to trap Santa in that table's pocket dimension.

Error of skill encountered, electrocuted self numerous times.

Good thing he put an "x" on the waste wood for the switch. He saved the whole rest of the table by eliminating the confusion after the cut!

Every time I watch a professional carpenter or machinist they ALWAYS mark the waste side of the cut, even if it is obvious.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah. The one time I don't mark I get confused on which to keep. Gets tricky when you mark the trash and then plans change to keep it.

I do this out of habit. Sometimes, like this, it seems dumb, but other times it will save you from making an expensive mistake.

I would pay for all My floors to have this treatment and ceilings too

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice. Now install a loudspeaker and attach sth. that plays muffled shouts. Like "Can somebody help me?" and "I don't want to die down here!"

I wish there were hobbyist classes for adults so we could learn cool shit like this without having to buy all the tools everytime in case

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We didn't end up liking it or something. Might be a pricey class but tools are expensive.

See if there's a "makerspace" near you, they might be what you're looking for.

Was thinking of the sawdust to clean up after.

But it's a good box, so you'd keep it for decades until you found a good use for it. You know it has a purpose. Yes you do.

2 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

It's a fine nothing box if nothing else :-p

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But the secret to unlocking the purpose is finally giving in and throwing the box away, then a week like the perfect reason appears.
