Building the sniper

The initial scope was much larger and later on I may swap it in since this particular scope is non functioning. Some basic wet sanding and a PVC barrel extension were mostly what was done.

Some ideas for the stock were scrapped as it was slowly broken down.

Blocking out the wood stock for it.

LEDs installed but were later scrapped.

Integrating the old mounts into the new stock.

Light staining.

Rough assembly, she's starting to take shape.

A good height both standing and shouldered. Clears the helmet too, that had been a concern.

See paint and weathering. Added a little heat effect to the end of the muzzle.

She feels like a rifle my dad used to train me on. Same length and pull. She will definitely deserve a larger scope later.

She will get some more small detailings later but breaks down to fit in with my armor perfectly and is comfortable enough to haul around a con with ease.
