this was called drafting. i used to do drafting when i was a really young kid along with my mother. she taught me how to do it. my mother was a drafter that worked for many large companies. we would sit for long hours doing these really neat drawings. i used to love to draw and she did too when she was young. so she showed me what i could do with my skills. i used to love sitting and working with her. i really miss her. ty op for bringing up a old fond memory.

I took drafting in high school. I still use it when designing things like green-houses, trailers, sheds, etc.
