Deffinitly Dino Turd, looks like the Dino ate someone and got some digestion problems witch gave the Dino hard stomac, probably Esophagitis

Have you tried one of the Stone ID apps from the play store?

Those things cant touch this. I know the stone is essentially lime stone. Very hard lime stone. Almost a chert. But that doesn't really

Explain where the pattern comes from. Ive seen it in many kinds of limestone and in other rocks as well

Looks like a metamorphic rock formed from river pebbles and quartz, or something similar.

Im fairly certain its limestone. Could be some form of concretion or fossilized something in limestone?

A conglomeration of pebbles in limestone, perhaps? It does look at least somewhat metamorphosized.

Im no geologist but my theory on limestone and its hardness is that it absorbs silica or silica replaces it similar to how an agate forms

Only it becomes chert

This is slightly softer than chert it can be sanded and polished with wet dry sandpaper but just barely

Some Geology instructor theorized that it could be a form of sub crystal nucleation in carboniferous limestone. But....

Maybe find a subreddit that focuses on geology/gemology?

Ive done that. None of the "professionals" claim they can even see a pattern in it. Have 2 friend who are geologists they do not know eithe

They dont know what it is either though they at least can see it lol
