When the youth of the nearby towns are getting a bit rowdy, they’re rounded up and sent on a ‘teambuilding’ weekend in the forest.
One of the most popular activities (other than searching for unusual mushrooms, or trying to ferment apples in a hurry) is Capture The Flag – a no-holds-barred rumble in the ju… er, forest.
The players are split into two teams: Red and Blue. The objective? Nick the other lot’s flag. Use any means you see fit – cunning, stealth, muscle, or magic. There are ambush points, lookout towers, rocks and trees and bushes for concealment…
Oh, there is one rule. Please don’t set fire to the lookout towers while people are on top of them. This isn’t The Wicker Man.
