Combining 2 Hobbies - Ceramics and Laser Etching

Start with a glazed piece - this was fired to cone 6

Apply a patch of low-fire glaze (cone 04-06) - not too thick, just enough to coat cleanly.

Place it in your laser bay and etch an image on the raw glaze patch

Admire your laser handiwork

CAREFULLY rinse off the un-laser-fused glaze with slow running water

Re-fire to low-cone to fuse the lased glaze to the piece
